The 2023 P2P Helper Scholarship will be awarded at PVSA Ceremony scheduled on August 19th at 10:30 AM at the FCCGW office (Vienna, VA). We highly encourage you to participate in the ceremony if you live in the DMV area.

It was a very difficult decision as we received the most applications this year.

Even though some of you could not be selected for this scholarship, we thank you for your genuine heart for volunteering in the community.

We encourage you to continue applying for future scholarships! **

1st Prize: $5,000 (1)

2nd Prize: $3,000 (1)

3rd Prize: $1,000 (1)

4th Prize: $500 (2)

Our applicants are evaluated based on the following criteria:

Scholastic Achievement (GPA above 3.75/4.0) - 10%

Volunteer Hours (above 100 hours) – 20%

Buddy Recommendation Letter - 20%

Essay - 50%

The scholarship is available to P2P helpers who participated in the program for at least two semesters. The student must participate in P2P orientation, complete mandatory sessions, submit session reports and communicate with the P2P department in a timely manner.

*U.S. citizen/permanent resident or has a U.S. bank account.

Monday, 7/31/2023 (must be submitted by 11:59 p.m.)

The result will be announced on August 14th, 2023.

The scholarship will be awarded at the PVSA Ceremony on August 19th, 2023.

Before you start this application, prepare to upload your final report cards of 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years, essay, and buddy recommendation letter.
